Founded in 1967, Keeler launched as a small Mercedes-Benz dealership with only SIX employees. Our dealership serves as the main resource for the highly popular and luxurious Mercedes-Benz vehicles across the Capital Region. In the early 1970’s the dealership grew as we expanded with BMW and Honda. The six-man operation flourished. Fast-forward to today, we have added Mini, Alfa-Romeo, the Keeler Quality Pre-Owned Center, Collision Center, a Full-Service Body Shop, and a Detail Department. Even with all this growth, over 50 years later, we are still a family owned and operated business that has kept its core values right from the start.

Keeler Toyota of Westport is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced DMV Processor / Title Clerk to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone with a strong knowledge of Connecticut DMV title and registration processes who thrives in a fast-paced automotive dealership environment.

Location: Westport, CT

What You'll Do

Process vehicle titles, registrations, transfers, and lien paperwork in compliance with Connecticut DMV regulations
Submit and track DMV paperwork for new and used vehicle sales
Verify the accuracy of title documents, bills of sale, payoff information, and supporting paperwork
Coordinate with sales, finance, accounting, and management teams to ensure timely processing
Resolve title discrepancies and follow up with lenders, customers, and state agencies as needed
Maintain organized records of all title and registration transactions
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with dealership policies and state compliance requirements
Assist with inventory title management and vehicle funding documentation

What We're Looking For

Automotive dealership experience required
Previous DMV, title, or registration processing experience preferred
Strong knowledge of Connecticut DMV title and registration procedures
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines simultaneously
Professional communication and customer service skills
Proficiency with dealership management systems and Microsoft Office preferred
